The usual saturday morning.
Lots of new songs, new albums. I always find my own way and time to listen to them.

the way he looks at her when she dresses up for the night.
the way she cuddles him during the ride. 
how they sew the real song into the karaoke in the bar. 

Brendan's voice is one my favourite. Love singing with him. We mach somehow.
But I'm not much of the Killers' fan. Never know when something is going to be released. Don't really care. Although they've been with me during the hard times.

So...

I woke up, a bit numb because of the.. reasons. Started planning the day and reading the shittiest book EVER. And turned on mtv rocks. Suddenly it happened. I felt it. I felt the joy of music, of emotion that came like a big, agressive wave to my mind. I loved it. Kind of a song that moves you and you only want to listen to it all the time, smiling (smiling!) to anybody that walks pass by you.

It is a very simple song, very much in the 80's style (so for someone who was raised with Cher it's SO cool!), with beautiful kick at the end of the first minute, just as the chours start.
And this shiny video (clearly happening in Las Vegas), full of lights, entertainment, longing for a change.. this is it. That is what you wait for a long time, and when you finally get it, you can't describe how happy it makes you. The first time I heard it I imagined the stadium singing 'give me a shot at the nght'. Can you?
